The Advanced Search allows anyone to search for staff with a particular skill or qualification. This is a fast search that takes advantage of the full text index built into Domino. Once a search has been made, the profiles can be viewed or the search criteria can be further refined.

When you first go into the screen, the selection will by default find all Profiles.



Reducing the number of profiles found is done by either selecting particular skills (all skills shown exist in the database) or degree majors. Clicking on the search button will display a list of Names and their Groups. The query generated by you is also displayed for reference sake. The options in the drop down lists come from the reference tables maintained by the application owner or administrator and any data held in the profiles themselves under the 'Other' additional fields provided.



NB./ It is possible to end up with no resumes that fit a complex selection criteria.
